Former Australian batsman Mike Hussey was in all praise for Indian skipper Virat Kohli and called his batting style exceptional.

While talking to TOL Sports Tak in St Moritz, Hussey said, “I think he’s doing better than pretty good. He is doing exceptionally well. He’s one of the great players for sure.”

On Virat Kohli’s comparison with Aussie captain Steve Smith and opener David Warner, Hussey said the-29-year-old cricketer is better than the rest.

“It’s very difficult to rate who is the best among Kohli, David Warner and Steve Smith. On their day, they are all as good as each other but Kohli is probably is the best. His consistency in all forms of the game is phenomenal,” Mike Hussey added.

With the way Indian skipper Virat Kohli is shattering records and writing a new history with his bat every day, it seems as if even the sky is not the limit for him.

In the recently concluded third ODI match against South Africa, Virat hit his record 34th ODI century and 12th after becoming Indian captain.

Last year, with his back-to-back two double centuries against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli hit his sixth double century in Test cricket and by doing so he also equalled Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most double centuries in Test by an Indian batsman.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is the only batsmen in the world whose average is above 50 (Test-53.40, ODI- 57.34, T20I-52.86) in all formats of the game.
