Manu Bhaker wins 10m Pistol at National Selection Trials T3
Manu, who had just managed to qualify for the final as the eighth and last shooter, produced a strong performance in the medal round.

National champion Tilottama Sen continued her impressive run in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions, clinching the National Selection Trials (NST) T1 for Group A at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range on Tuesday. In the men’s event, Navy shooter Niraj Kumar topped the standings, while Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu emerged victorious in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol T1.
The women’s 50m 3P final, held in the new ISSF format, saw Tilottama edge past Ashi Chouskey in a close contest. Fresh from winning 11 medals at the 68th National Shooting Championship, the Karnataka shooter finished on top with a score of 360.1, just 0.6 ahead of Ashi, who scored 359.5. Manini Kaushik of Rajasthan claimed third place with a final score of 347.5.

Earlier, Tilottama and Ashi had qualified for the final in the top two positions with scores of 594 and 592 respectively. They were joined in the final by Surabhi Bharadwaj Rapole of Railways (589; 311.7 in finals), Vidarsa K Vinod of Kerala (588; 336.3), Ayushi Podder of Railways (588; 322.6), Anjum Moudgil of Punjab (587; 204.7) and Mansi Kathait of Railways (587; 299.2).

In the men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions final, Niraj Kumar of the Navy delivered a steady performance to finish first with a score of 360.5. He finished 3.6 points clear of Adriyan Karmakar of West Bengal, who took second place with 356.9. National champion Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar secured third place with a score of 346.7.
Aishwary, representing Madhya Pradesh, had topped the qualification round with 595, while Army’s Ganga Singh qualified second with 593. The rest of the finalists included Swapnil Kusale of Railways (592), Rudrankksh B Patil of Maharashtra (592), Chain Singh of Army (590) and Kiran Ankush Jadhav of Navy (588).
Meanwhile, the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol final was also conducted under the new ISSF format, with eight shooters making it to the final instead of six. Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu of Punjab finished on top with a score of 29 in the final. Vijayveer Sidhu followed with 27 to take second place, while Mandeep Singh of Haryana finished third with 20 after winning a shoot-off against national champion Suraj Sharma, who scored 18.
Udayveer Sidhu (14), Neeraj Kumar (11), Omkar Singh (7) and Ankur Goel completed the list of finalists.
