Earlier in the evening, RCB won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Bengaluru side made one change to their XI, bringing in Pooja Vastrakar in place of Gautami Naik.
RCB, who entered the contest as table-toppers, were coming off two consecutive defeats (against Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians) and were eager to bounce back and they delivered in dominant fashion.
UPW innings: Meg Lanning and Deepti start strong but RCB bowlers pull it back
Batting first, UP Warriorz posted 143/8, after a promising start from their openers Meg Lanning and Deepti Sharma. The duo stitched together 74 runs for the first wicket, including 50 in the power play, marking UPW’s first 50-plus opening stand of the season.
Lanning looked set for a bigger knock before being dismissed for 41, with Nadine de Klerk striking at a key moment to swing the momentum back in RCB’s favour. De Klerk then removed debutant Amy Jones soon after, tightening RCB’s grip on the innings.
Deepti held the innings together with a composed 55 off 43 balls, but regular wickets at the other end prevented UPW from accelerating in the death overs, leaving them with a below-par total.
De Klerk was the standout bowler for RCB, finishing with impressive figures of 4/22, while Grace Harris also chipped in with two wickets.
RCB chase: Harris-Mandhana demolish UPW; 108-run stand seals final spot
In reply, RCB’s chase was virtually sealed inside the power play itself. Harris and Mandhana came out with intent, racing to 63 runs in the power play and stitching together a match-winning 108-run partnership in just 9.1 overs.
Harris played the aggressor’s role, smashing a fluent 75, while Mandhana anchored the innings with a calm and composed 54 not out.
Harris was eventually dismissed by Shikha Pandey, but the contest was already out of UPW’s reach. Georgia Voll added a brisk 16 during a 35-run partnership with Mandhana before falling to Asha Sobhana.
Mandhana reached her fifty shortly before Voll’s dismissal and then sealed the win in style, finishing the chase with a boundary off Deepti Sharma.
UPW’s campaign ends, RCB march into final
UP Warriorz’s below-par total and ineffective power-play bowling proved costly, ending their playoff hopes. RCB, meanwhile, continued their strong run and booked a place in the WPL 2026 final with a commanding all-round performance.
