Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan tied the knot with Sophie Shine in an intimate ceremony in Delhi-NCR on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with close friends and family in attendance.
Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal gave fans a glimpse into the wedding celebrations by sharing pictures from the ceremony on social media.

The images showed Dhawan dressed in a traditional white sherwani alongside Sophie, who looked elegant in a white lehenga adorned with intricate orange and pink floral embroidery. Chahal was also seen enjoying the festivities and dancing with other guests.
Captioning his Instagram post, Chahal wrote, “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai,” expressing his excitement for his former teammate’s big day.
Earlier, Dhawan had shared pictures from his sangeet ceremony on Instagram, captioning the post, “Sangeet Night, almost the Dhawans.” Sophie also offered fans a glimpse of the pre-wedding celebrations by posting photos from her haldi ceremony.
