Though star Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami denied all the allegations made by his wife Hasin Jahan on his extramarital affair, Twitterati trolled the pacer for the same.

Day after wife Hasin Jahan accused him of cheating and domestic violence, Shami opened up and denied all the claims made by her.

He said all the news about his personal life were a conspiracy against him to tarnish his image and distract him from his game.

In a Facebook post, Shami wrote: “Hi. I’m Mohammad Shami. Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai.”

Here is how Twitter reacted:

“Shami @MdShami11 when you had the option to have 3 wives why do you indulge in extramarital affairs. #shami,” wrote a Twitter user.

“What a disgrace Shami has done to himself and his image.

Being an international cricketer, you’re role model of thousands of youths and he’s doing such things.

Unbelievable #Shameful #ShameOnShami #Shami #MohammedShami,” writes another user.

Earlier, reports surfaced in the media about Hasin Jahan accusing her husband of having extra-marital affairs.

She had told ABP Live that Shami had been torturing her mentally and physically, for more than two years. She also shared with the TV channel some photos and screenshots to substantiate her claim that Shami had affairs with other women.

“Whatever I have posted is just the tip of the iceberg. Shami’s acts are far more heinous. He has relationships with multiple women,” Jahan was quoted as saying by ABP Live.

She alleged that Shami’s family had also been torturing her for more than two years.

“Everyone in their family used to torture me. His mother and brother used to abuse me. The tortures continued till 2-3 am in the morning. They even wanted to kill me,” Jahan said, adding: “Shami abused me and started beating me even after returning from South Africa. He has been doing this for quite some time now and now I have had enough.”

Stating that she would approach the police, Jahan said: “I tried to convince myself for the sake of my family and daughter but he kept on harassing me and when I found those obscene chats with multiple women, all hell broke. I cannot tolerate this anymore and I have decided to take legal actions with all the available evidence.”

Mohammed Shami’s wife reportedly spoke to the Jadavpur police about her situation on January 8 after coming back to Kolkata.

Notably, Shami had earlier slammed internet trolls for targeting his wife for her selection of outfits.
