Pollard ‘sick and fed up’ of people criticising Hardik Pandya after MI suffers fourth loss
Pollard rated Pandya as one of the great “all-rounders” India has ever produced, and believed that fans will ‘sing praises for him’ soon.
Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter on Sunday, 12 May, to wish Mumbai Indians allrounder Kieron Pollard on his 32nd birthday.
Tendulkar, a former MI skipper, also asked Pollard to “make this day extra special”, hinting at a win for the Indian Premier League (IPL) team in today’s final match between MI and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The rivalry between MI and CSK is nothing new as both are the most successful teams of IPL, winning the title three times each.
It is the fourth time in IPL history when MI and CSK will be facing each other in a final. In the previous three clashes, MI managed to clinch two in their favour and lost one to CSK.
In the ongoing IPL edition, MI crushed CSK in all three matches they played against each other: two league matches and one Qualifier.
One of the major reasons behind MI’s success in this edition of the IPL – they finished first in the league table – has been allrounder Hardik Pandya’s sublime form.
Pandya has scored 386 runs and has taken 14 crucial wickets in 15 matches.
On the other hand, MS Dhoni has been a saviour for CSK. The wicketkeeper-batsman has scored 414 runs (highest for CSK this IPL) in 14 matches he has played.
