Messi scores on return from injury for Inter Miami
Lionel Messi scored on his return from injury as Inter Miami were held to a 2-2 home draw with Colorado in their Major League Soccer (MLS) clash.
Barcelona have already made two high-profile transfers in their favour this summer in the form of Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie de Jong. They are also in the hunt to add another star player, Neymar in their team. If that is not enough, Barcelona FC wants to add another left-back in their team since Jordi Alba is the only player who plays in that position in the current team. As per multiple reports in Spanish media, Junior Firpo, who plays for Real Betis is on top of their list.
However, according to a report published in Don Balon, a Spanish weekly sports magazine, Lionel Messi does not want Barcelona to sign the 22-year-old left-back player. It is to be noted that back in 2012, Firpo had posted a tweet bashing Messi which read, “I hope that shit rat Messi picks up an injury and dies and stops scoring goals, ahhaha (sic).”
Although Firpo had expressed his willingness to apologise for his old comments on Messi a few days ago, the Argentine is in no mood to allow team manager Ernesto Valverde to get Junior Firpo in the team.

Messi, meanwhile, wants Barcelona to consider compatriot Nicolas Tagliafico as an option, the same Don Balon report adds.
