The 11th edition of cash-rich Indian Premier League is set to start in the first week of the April and before the tournament, the mega-auction of players are going to take place in Bangalore on 27th and 28th January.
In the IPL players’ auction, 578 capped, uncapped players from different nations will go under the hammer.
Earlier, 18 players, including Indian skipper Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel were retained by their respective franchises. Meanwhile, 182 players out of 578 will be picked by different teams during the auction.

In the final list of 578 players, 360 are Indian and 218 are foreign players. In 360 players, 13 players have kept their base price for Rs 2 crores.
