England’s star all-rounder Ben Stokes has been in the media since the last five months due to the incident that occurred outside a nightclub in September. As per reports, Stokes was involved in the incident that left a man with a fractured eye socket outside a nightclub in September.

Due to the controversy, Stokes missed the Ashes 2017 in which Australia defeated English by 4-0. However, the 26-year-old cricketer will go under the hammer during the IPL 2018 Players’ Auction as the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had given him the green light, according to a report in BBC.

Ben Stokes was brought by Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) with the record price of Rs 14.5 crore last year. Well, as RPS is no longer a part of the cash-rich league, Stokes will be up for the grabs and there are high chances that he may not be a million dollar baby this year.

In Indian Premier League’s 10th edition, Strokes scored 316 runs in 12 matches with an average of 31.60 and picked 12 wickets. Stokes’ average for IPL 2017 was 31.60, which though a decent average, does not justify the spent on the England all-rounder.
