In the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings outplayed table toppers SunRisers Hyderabad to confirm their place in the playoffs on Sunday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.

Here is the stats review of the Sunday’s match:

1- The winning percentage of Chennai Super Kings while chasing a target is 65, highest among all current teams in IPL.

2- In IPL 2018, Chennai’s runs per wicket ratio is 39.30 – Most by any team in the league.

3- On Sunday, SunRisers Hyderabad scored just 29 runs in the PowerPlay, this is the lowest by any team while playing against Chennai.

4- In the 11th season of IPL, Kane Williamson has scored seven fifty-plus innings, the only captain to do so this season. Other than Kane, only two skippers have scored more half-centuries plus scores in a single edition – Virat Kohli for RCB (11 in 2016) and David Warner for SRH (9 in 2016).

5- Only four players have scored a century against Hyderabad, and three have come in this season of the league.

6- In IPL 2018, four players have scored a century, of which two are from Chennai Super Kings.
