In the 52nd match of the 11th season of Indian Premier League, Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bat first at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on Saturday.

After winning the toss, Ajinkya Rahane said: “I think the wicket looks very dry. We know this wicket very well and the first six overs are very important. Runs on the board always matter and looking forward to bat here. I think it is important to start well. It is important to be in the present as well know it is important game for both the teams. We will definitely miss them. It is important for us to do well as a team. It is a great opportunity for the boys. Ben Laughlin, Heinrich Klaasen and Shreyas Gopal come in.”

Virat Kohli said: “When you have momentum on your side, you want to keep playing and that is something that we are looking forward to. We would have bowled first as well. They don’t have Jos and Stokes. So, we wanted to put them in first. It is important to find the right balance. We have done decently well in the last three games. We are playing with same team.”
