In the much-awaited final of the 11th season of Indian Premier League (IPL), two times champion Chennai Super Kings under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni will take on Kane Williamson-led SunRisers Hyderabad on Sunday.

The final match of the 51-day-long T20 carnival will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

While MS Dhoni’s CSK made it to the final by thrashing Hyderabad in the first qualifiers, Kane Williamson’s side had to go through qualifier second to seal their spot in the final. Chennai and SunRisers have faced each other thrice in the ongoing season of the T20 league and the CSK hold a 3-0 record over SunRisers.

In the final of IPL 2018, it will be the clash between Hyderabad’s bowling and Chennai’s batting.

With the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan and Siddarth Kaul, the orange army boasts of a superb bowling attack whereas the yellow brigade is full of star-studded batting line-up comprising Shane Watson, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina and others.

For Chennai, each of the batsmen had risen to the occasion whenever their side needed.

The yellow brigade have been on a roll since making their comeback to the IPL fold after serving a two-year-ban, and have rarely lost the momentum this season with the old guards and new sensations firing in unison.
