Jakarta and Palembang will host the 18th edition of the Asian Games between August 18 and September 2. India will be sending a 524-member contingent,  featuring 277 men and 247 women athletes from a total of 36 sports disciplines. Here’s an infographic wrap-up of the history of the Asian Games.
