The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the release of tickets for the Women’s World Cup 2025, opening a four-day pre-sale window at record-low prices. Tickets are available for as little as INR 100 (USD 1.14), making this the most affordable ICC global event in history.

For context, ticket prices for the 2022 edition in New Zealand started at NZD 7 for children and NZD 17 for adults (approximately INR 350 / USD 4.45 for kids and INR 850 / USD 10 for adults). The current prices are nearly eight-and-a-half times cheaper than the last edition, reflecting the ICC’s efforts to make the tournament more accessible to fans.

The release comes with less than a month to go for the opening fixture between India and Sri Lanka on September 30 in Guwahati.

The 13th edition of the Women’s World Cup will feature eight teams: co-hosts India and Sri Lanka, along with Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh.

Adding to the landmark edition, the ICC has also announced a significant prize money boost, setting aside USD 13.88 million, almost four times the USD 3.5 million that was awarded during the 2022 edition.
