He presented basil as simple solution for issues ranging from household disturbance to seasonal illnesses.
A simple solution for many problems
In his post, Balkrishna asked readers if they were troubled by Vastu defects, home disturbances, disease or mental anxiety. He then introduced basil as what he described as an “intuitive and eternal solution.”
According to him, basil is not just a plant but also a divine medicine, a source of spiritual strength and even a scientific boon.
He also mentioned that scriptures refer to the plant by several names, including Sursa, Devpriya and Bhootaghani.
Balkrishna listed multiple benefits of planting basil at home. He wrote that the plant helps purify the environment, removes negative energy and protects against seasonal illnesses such as cold, cough and allergies.
He also suggested that basil promotes purity in mind, body and thoughts.
The post included practical suggestions for readers. Balkrishna advised planting basil directly in the ground if space allows, or keeping it in a pot otherwise. He also recommended consuming the plant in different forms, such as brew, tea or juice.
According to him, these uses are suitable for everyone, from children to elderly people.
