Acharya Balkrishna recently posted a very simple yet strong message on social media regarding the necessity of consuming fresh vegetable juice. According to him, fresh vegetable juice is not only a healthy drink. It is actually a life changer that can keep us young, healthy, and disease-free for years.

In his post, Acharya Balkrishna described that nature has provided us with all that is required to remain healthy, and among the easiest means of enjoying the gift is through vegetables. In his opinion, “The regular intake of fresh vegetable juice keeps ageing away and increases life span.”

He further added that natural medicine, or ‘prakritik chikitsa’, takes vegetable juice as one of the best treatments for old and chronic ailments.

The potential of vegetable juice

Vegetable juices contain fresh vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants, which are essential for our body on a daily basis. When consumed fresh and raw, the nutrients absorb rapidly and allow the body to heal itself naturally.

Acharya Balkrishna stated that those who consume vegetable juice regularly not only feel full of energy but also experience obvious skin, improved digestion, and strengthened immunity.

He explained that experience and research both demonstrate that vegetable juices can actually prevent serious diseases. The most potent example is wheatgrass juice, or ‘gehun ke jaware ka ras’. Acharya Balkrishna revealed that this green juice is so potent in natural healing that it prevents serious diseases such as cancer. Scientists say wheatgrass juice detoxifies the body and enhances the health of the blood.

A natural path to good health

Acharya Balkrishna brought everyone back to the fact that health does not get better overnight but through day-to-day small changes. He advised incorporating juices of spinach, bottle gourd (‘lauki’), cucumber, carrot, beetroot, and amla in day-to-day life. They clean the body from the inside out, balance metabolism, and make all organs strong.

He also highlighted that you have to drink the juices fresh within 15 to 20 minutes of preparation to derive maximum benefit. A few drops of lemon juice or a pinch of rock salt can make them more palatable and effective.
