Spray vinegar onto the cabinet tops. Sprinkle baking soda over it. Wait for a few minutes. Scrape off entire sticky greasy gunk with the help of an old credit card. When all the greasy gunk is scraped off, wipe down again with a soft cloth or sponge soaked in vinegar.

Make a paste of vinegar and salt. Dip a toothbrush into the paste and scrub gently especially on the areas having stubborn stains. Don’t use steel wool to avoid scratch on the wood. Rinse the paste off with a clean wet towel. Finally, dry the surface with a clean dry towel.

Clean your kitchen cabinets with a solution of liquid dish soap and warm water. This simple solution is enough to get food smudges, dust and mild grease build off your cabinet. Mix salt with rubbing alcohol in 1:4 ratio and rub it thoroughly over the oil and grease stains on the cabinets.

Make a paste of borax and lemon juice, apply it over areas on the cabinet. Let it stay for some time until borax absorbs the oil and grease. Gently wipe the mixture with a wet sponge or cloth.
