West Bengal Police recruitment 2019: West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has released an official notification inviting applications for the recruitment of Sub Inspector posts. Interested candidates should apply on the official website-www.wbpolice.gov.in till September 12, 2019.
The online application process began from August 10 and the total number of vacancy division is 668.

Vacancy division:
• Unreserved (UR) category: 366 posts
• Scheduled Caste category : 147 posts
• Scheduled Tribe category: 40 posts
• OBC – A category: 68 posts
• OBC – B category: 47 posts
Age limit:
• Interested candidates should be in the age limit of 20 to 27 years old.
• However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government norms.
Application fee:
• General/OBC category candidates: Rs 270
• SC/ST category candidates: Rs 20.
Educational Qualification for West Bengal Police recruitment 2019:
• Interested candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.
Selection Procedure:
• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test and Final Combined Competitive Examination.
• The Preliminary Exam will consist of 200 marks and the total duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
