WBPRB SI recruitment 2019: West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has released an official notification inviting applications for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (armed branch). The interested candidates should apply online on the official website-wbpolice.gov.inby September 9, 2019.
The total number of vacant posts are 668. The vacant posts for Unarmed Branch are 494 and the vacant posts for Armed Branch are 174.

• Online application ends: September 9, 2019.
Age limit:
• Interested candidates should be in the age limit of 20 to 27 years.
• However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government norms.
Educational Qualification:
• Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.
Selection Procedure:
• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Final Combined Competitive Examination and Personality Test.
• The preliminary examination will be conducted for 200 marks and will consist of General Studies, Logical and Analytical reasoning and Arithmetic.

• General/OBC category candidates: Rs 270
• SC/ST candidates: Rs 20
