Veteran RSS Pracharak Manak Chand passes away in Jaipur

Senior RSS Pracharak and former Managing Editor of the Sangh’s fortnightly journal Pathey Kan, Manak Chand, passed away at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital here on Wednesday afternoon. He was 83.

He had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailments for some time and breathed his last at 12:15 pm.

Manak Chand served as a Sangh Pracharak for over 60 years. He held the position of Managing Editor of Pathey Kan for 34 years, after which he was designated as its patron.

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagade, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, and several other dignitaries have expressed deep condolences on his demise.

In his condolence message, Governor Bagade said: “The entire life of Manak Chand Ji was inspiring and a role model for the younger generation. I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.”

Chief Minister Sharma also expressed profound grief, stating, “His lifelong dedication to the cause of the nation will continue to inspire us. I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul.”

The Chief Minister visited Manak Chand’s residence in Malviya Nagar to offer floral tributes and placed a wreath on the veteran’s body.

He was accompanied by Cabinet Ministers Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Madan Dilawar, along with several RSS and BJP leaders who also paid their respects at Pathey Kan Bhawan.
