A division bench of the Kerala High Court comprising Justices Anil K Narendran and Muralikrishna will hear in detail a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking a CBI probe into the monthly pay-off case involving Exalogic Solutions Pvt. Ltd, owned by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan and the Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL).
The court has sent notices to the opposite parties in the petition and posted to December 1 for detailed hearing in the case.

In his petition, Journalist MR Ajayan, sought a CBI investigation into the casebased on the documents of the Income Tax Interim Settlement Board(ITISB). The ITISB has found that Rs 1.72 crore was given to Veena Vijayan’s firm by the CMRL company without rendering any services
Earlier, a Division Bench comprising Justice A Muhamed Mustaque, and Justice Harisankar V Menon recused itself from hearing the PIL alleging financial transactions between CMRL and Exalogic Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Justice Syam Kumar V M who was part of the Bench headed by Chief Justice Nitin Jamdar had recused himself from hearing the case.
