Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi has been decked up along with the enhancement of security in view of the visit of the Prime Minister of Mauritius and the Prime Minister of India for bilateral talks on September 11.
While Mauritius PM Navinchandra Ramgoolam will reach here on Wednesday evening, PM Modi will reach Varanasi on Thursday morning. The bilateral talks will be held at Hotel Taj.

In view of the proposed visit of the PM of Mauritius and the PM of India, UP Chief Secretary-in-charge/Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar and DGP Rajiv Krishna on Tuesday took stock of the arrangements at Babatpur Airport.

Both the officers inspected the bilateral talks venue, Hotel Taj, and Police Line helipad, and gave necessary guidelines to the officials. Divisional Commissioner S. Rajlingam and Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal shared detailed information regarding the final preparations at Hotel Taj. They also inspected the helipad built in the Reserve Police Line. After this, both the officers held a meeting in the Police Line auditorium and discussed the key points.
Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam will arrive here on the evening of 10 September. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach the airport on September 11. From there, he will go to the Police Line by helicopter and, reach Hotel Taj by road and will hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Mauritius.
The Prime Minister of Mauritius will visit and worship at the Kal Bhairav Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. It is also likely that he will also watch the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat from the cruise on Thursday evening.
