The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) will launch one-day guided tours from Lucknow to the pilgrimage centres of Naimisharanya and Ayodhya on Saturday to mark World Tourism Day.
The initiative aims to combine spirituality with convenience, offering special discounts for senior citizens and online booking facilities through online.

State Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said, “Guided tours to Naimisharanya and Ayodhya will strengthen faith tourism in UP. Our focus is on safe, affordable, and meaningful pilgrimages accessible to all.”
“These tours are about devotion, culture and togetherness, creating community bonds among travellers,” Singh added.
UPSTDC Managing Director Eesha Priya said the packages have been designed to ensure comfort and dignity for senior citizens while encouraging cultural exchange and promoting Uttar Pradesh’s rich spiritual heritage.
With this initiative, UPSTDC hopes to offer pilgrims new opportunities to explore the state’s sacred sites and return with “blessings, knowledge and memories.
