We have decided to complete the survey of all agricultural lands in all districts of the state within the next five years. This will first help settlement of the rural lands and secondly lead to better consolidation. According to Dhami, consolidation of rural land in Uttarakhand will also help reverse migration in deserted villages.

Apart from land Consolidation Dhami stated that his government will also form a special religious circuit Kedarkhand in Kedarnath Valley. Dhami said that efforts are on to form the Kedarkhand religious circuit that will include all temples in the region.

He said Kedarkhand will be formed on the line of Manaskhand Circuit in Kumaon region. Manaskhand circuit has resulted in an increase in tourists footfalls in Kumaon region specially from southern states and Maharashtra.

Uttarakhand chief minister claimed that in the last 25 years income of the farmers in the state has reached highest in the country.

Dhami said, “Uttarakhand’s Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) has been 12.69 percent, four times the national average. The state has emerged as the leading state in the country in providing employment opportunities to the youth while four villages Jakhol, Harsil, Gunji and Supi have been acknowledged and rewarded as the best tourism rural destinations in the country.”
