Two soldiers got injured in an accidental grenade explosion along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, June 12.
According to officials, the explosion occurred in the forward area along the LoC during a training exercise, IANS reported.

“Two soldiers sustained injuries in the incident. Both injured soldiers were immediately shifted to the 425 Army Field Hospital, Poonch, for treatment,” the official said.
As of now, details regarding their condition as well as the incident are awaited.
Notably, the Union Territory has a 740-km-long Line of Control situated across the districts of Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara of the Valley, as well as the Poonch, Rajouri and partly in the Jammu district of the Jammu division.
Besides this, Jammu and Kashmir even has a 240-km-long international border situated in Samba, Kathua, and Jammu districts.
