Three headload workers killed as godown slab collapsed in Kozhikode

Three headload workers were killed after a concrete slab of an old building, owned by the City Corporation, collapsed at Valiyangadi in Kozhikode on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Jabbar, Ashraf, and Basheer. They were killed after getting trapped under the rubble while two other workers sustained serious injuries in the incident. They have been admitted to a hospital.

The incident happened at around 12.25 pm on Monday.

The Fire and Rescue personnel sliced through the concrete blocks to retrieve persons who were trapped under the rubble.
