Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday accused the Congress of labeling the youth of Varanasi “drug addicts”, taking a dig at the opposition INDIA bloc.

“The royal family of Congress says that the youth of Kashi are drug addicts. They have spent two decades abusing Modi, now these people are taking out their frustration on the youth of UP. Those who have lost their senses are calling the children of my Kashi as drug addicts,” he said here.

After the inauguration ceremony of Banas Kashi Complex and inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 13,000 crore for Purvanchal, PM Modi fiercely targeted the opposition.

He said that decades of corruption, nepotism and appeasement kept UP backward. UP was made a sick state, the future of the youth was played with.

Challenging the Congress, the Prime Minister said that the youth of Kashi and UP are engaged in making a developed UP. ” The youth of UP will never forget the insult done by Congress and the INDI alliance,” he said.

Taking an attacking stance on Congress and SP, the Prime Minister said that family members are always afraid of youth power and talent. He feels that if an ordinary youth gets an opportunity, he will challenge everywhere. They like only those who keep cheering them day and night.

The Prime Minister said that another reason for their anger and frustration is that they do not like the new form of Kashi and Ayodhya. ” They attack Ram Mandir on all kinds of things. I did not know that Congress had so much hatred for Prabhu Shri Ram. They are unable to think beyond their family and vote bank. When elections come, these people come together. When the result is silence, they abuse each other and separate,” he alleged.

Taking a dig at the INDI alliance in Bhojpuri, Modi said, ‘This is Banaras, everyone is a guru here, the maneuver of the Indi alliance did not work here. Not just Banaras but the entire UP knows that the goods are the same and the packaging is new.” The Prime Minister said that this time he will have to struggle a lot to save his bail.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his speech in Bhojpuri by saying, “Today I have once again got an opportunity to visit the land of Kashi. We did not feel like it until we came to Banaras. Ten years ago you people became the MPs of our Banaras, now in 10 years Banaras has become our Banarasi as Delhi.”

The Prime Minister said that today there are 45 projects worth more than Rs. 13000 crores, which will accelerate the development of Purvanchal and Eastern India. It has works related to many areas like rail, road, airport, animal husbandry, industry, sports, skill development, health, cleanliness, spirituality, tourism, LPG gas. This will create many new employment opportunities. He said that many projects related to the birthplace of Saint Ravidas ji have been inaugurated and foundation stone laid today.

He said that farmers and cattle rearers have always been the biggest priority of the BJP government. The country will become self-reliant only when every small power of the country is awakened. Help should be given to farmers, cattle herders, artisans, craftsmen and small entrepreneurs. The Prime Minister said that he is always vocal for the local.
