Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur on Tuesday directed the administration to ensure that no land mafia encroaches on anyone’s land. He asked the police to give such elements a befitting lesson through legal means.

CM Yogi also warned the officers against negligence at any level while ensuring quick and effective action on complaints related to land grabbing. He assured the people that all their problems would be solved and that there was no need for them to worry about anything.

Some women had reached Janata Darshan with complaints of land dispute and encroachment. The chief minister took details of their grievances and asked the officials to take such action that no one dares to occupy anyone’s land illegally.

In cases of land dispute, he directed the officers to conduct counselling first between the aggrieved parties before taking appropriate legal action. He told the people who came with their complaints related to crime and land dispute, “Don’t panic, strict action will be taken.”

All this while, the chief minister kept handing over the application letters to the officials concerned along with necessary directions for action. Regarding complaints related to other districts, he instructed officers to send those to the concerned officers of those districts.

On complaints related to revenue in Janata Darshan, the CM directed the officers to expedite the disposal of land measurement and revenue related matters in tehsils. “Wherever necessary, the police force should also be taken along,” he said.

Meanwhile, chief minister Yogi Adityanath showered his love and blessings and chocolates on the children who had come to the Janata Darshan with their mothers.
