Donald Trump’s election victory and his vow to swiftly end the Ukraine-Russia war present both an ambitious promise and a diplomatic quandary.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday met Ivanka Trump, daughter and Advisor to US President Donald Trump, ahead of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017 here.

“Hand in hand. EAM @SushmaSwaraj met @IvankaTrump, Advisor to the US President and Leader of the US delegation at #GES2017 in Hyderabad; had a productive discussion on women entrepreneurship and empowerment,” External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted along with a picture of the two holding hands.

Ivanka will be attending the inaugural session of the GES on Tuesday evening along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The three-day event, being co-hosted by the US and India, will be attended by 1,500 entrepreneurs, investors and eco-system supporters from 159 countries.
