AAP’s youth wing holds ‘Walk for Kejriwal’ in support of CM
The AAP's youth wing on Sunday organised a walkathon, 'Walk for Kejriwal', in support of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal under the 'Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se' campaign.
In a setback to the Aam Aadmi Party, the Supreme Court on Monday dismissed former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain’s bail plea in connection with a money laundering case. The court ordered Jain to surrender forthwith.
A bench of Justices Bela M Trivedi and Pankaj Mithal also rejected the bail plea of the other two co-accused Ankush and Vaibhav Jain.
Earlier in May last year, Jain was granted interim bail for six weeks on medical grounds.

Appearing for Jain, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that his client had been incarcerated for a year. He said that probe agencies were trying to convert an income tax case into a money laundering matter.
Singhvi also urged the top court to grant bail to Jain saying that he was not a flight risk or threat to witnesses. The senior advocate also said that this was a matter of life and liberty for Jain.
Jain was arrested in May 2022 in a disproportionate assets case. He is accused of misusing his position as minister from February 2015 to May 2017 to acquire disproportionate assets worth ₹1.47 crore.
Subsequently, the Enforcement Directorate started a probe into alleged money laundering through three firms linked to him.
