On the third death anniversary of the founder of the Samajwadi Party, Mulayam Singh Yadav, party leaders expressed their condolences on Friday.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with other leaders, conveyed their condolences through social media.

However, the main function was organised by the Samajwadi Party at Netaji’s samadhi in Saifai (Etawah).
Samajwadi Party leaders — Akhilesh Yadav, the party chief; national general secretary Prof. Ramgopal Yadav; national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav; Rajya Sabha member Ramji Lal Suman; Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav; MP Dharmendra Yadav; MP Akshay Yadav; MP Aditya Yadav — and others paid homage at Netaji’s samadhi.
On this occasion, Akhilesh Yadav paid a heartfelt tribute to Netaji and pledged to fulfil his dreams by following his struggles and principles. He said that Netaji fought throughout his life for socialist ideals and to secure justice and political power for the poor, the deprived, the exploited, the backward classes, Dalits, and the minorities.
The SP President said that a memorial is being built in Netaji’s memory at his samadhi site. “On Netaji’s death anniversary, we pledge to continue our united struggle to protect the Constitution. The Constitution is a lifeline for all of us. The Constitution is our shield. We will spread Netaji’s message to the masses and continue to fight for the rights and dignity of farmers, labourers, minorities, tribals, backward classes, and Dalits,” he announced.
Akhilesh Yadav said that Netaji took numerous decisions for the military, farmers, and the PDA, which brought about social change. The Samajwadi Party will promote these values and ensure respect and rights for the members of the PDA family.
On this occasion, the SP president said that the main part of Prerna Sthal (the Samadhi of Mulayam Singh Yadav) will be completed by November 22, 2026, Netaji’s birthday, and will be inaugurated through a grand ceremony.
