According to Rakesh Bond, the nerves in Ruskin Bond’s left leg had weakened, and owing to his heavy weight, he was unable to walk. As a precautionary measure, he was admitted to the hospital on December 10.

Rakesh further clarified that apart from the leg-related issue, the 91-year-old author has no other serious health problems and that all necessary test reports were normal.

He added that Ruskin Bond is currently undergoing physiotherapy and receiving medical care. Given the continuous improvement in his condition, he is likely to be discharged within a day or two
