Reiterating their commitment to safety and infrastructural robustness in the Northern Railway’s Jammu Division, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Vivek Kumar, accompanied by senior officials, on Friday conducted a comprehensive inspection of Railway Bridge No. 17 and the rail section between Kathua and Madhopur (Punjab).

The primary objective of the inspection was to assess the progress of ongoing upgrade works on the bridge and to ensure operational safety. Several bridges and rail tracks in the Jammu Division were damaged last year due to flash floods.
