The Deputy Chairman shared examples of how technology has transformed various sectors, citing the PM-Jan Dhan Yojana, which leveraged digital infrastructure like Aadhaar and mobile phones to improve banking coverage.
“According to a World Bank study, if we had continued to use the conventional method of opening bank accounts, it would have taken 47 years for us to open the number of bank accounts that we have now,” he said.

The Deputy Chairman urged the interns to focus on building the right knowledge and skills rather than completely depending on technology. He emphasized that India’s stable economic growth has set the right platform for youth to innovate, take risks, and pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.

“Young India’s new ideas and innovations will aid India’s journey towards a developed nation by 2047,” Harivansh said, adding that the world is paying a high premium for innovation. He encouraged the interns to leverage technology to drive growth and development, while also being mindful of its limitations.
