Odisha largely free from caste, religion resonance in electoral politics
Caste calculation, religious affiliation has never emerged as a tool to woo voters.
The flight operation on Bhubaneswar-Rangeilunda (Berhampur) route began on Sunday.
With this, Berhampur city will now be connected with Bhubaneswar by air which will reduce the travel time to one hour. The long standing demand for flight operation to Rangeilunda has been fulfilled, said officials.
There will be increased footfall for tourist destinations like Chilika Lake, Tampara Lake, Gopalpur Beach, Rushikulya River, Tara Tarini Temple following the air connectivity to Rangeilunda.

Berhampur, which is on the path of rapid industrialization, is widely regarded as the commercial hub of southern Odisha.
The flight operation in this route will boost the industry and tourism sector. There was a very long demand for flight operations at Rangeilunda and now, the air connectivity will fulfill all the dreams in every respect.
