He said that more help will be provided to the affected people after improvement in the weather conditions.
Swami Ramdev also criticized multinational firms, saying that these companies come to Uttarakhand only to earn money, but don’t provide any help in crucial times like this.
Swami Ramdev also appealed to the countrymen to unite against the “hooliganism of America” following US President Donald Trump imposing heavy tariffs on Indian exports to the US.
“A new world order is emerging. In this, BRICS, Middle East, Europe and some countries of the G-7 grouping are coming forward so that America’s bullying can be countered,” he was quoted as saying in the document.
Also, the yoga guru appealed to the countrymen to take a pledge to completely adopt Swadeshi which in turn would strengthen the economy of the country.
Adding to it, Acharya Balkrishna, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, said that we should be able to protect our sisters or any person of the society according to our ability.
Meanwhile, rescue and relief operations are in full swing in the flood and landslide-affected regions of Dharali and Harsil, with 816 civilians rescued so far.
The multi-agency effort involves the Indian Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), working round-the-clock to evacuate stranded people and restore essential connectivity.
On August 5, a sudden cloudburst struck the Dharali area near Harsil, washing away parts of the village and leaving several residents missing.
A surge in the Kheer Ganga river led to extensive damage in the Dharali area.
