The Special Operations Group (SoG) of the Rajasthan Police has arrested five personnel of the State Staff Selection Board, including the board’s Technical In-charge, in connection with irregularities and an alleged scam in three recruitment examinations conducted in 2018.
The investigating agency made the arrests in connection with irregularities in the Supervisor (Women Empowerment) Direct Recruitment Examination 2018, the Laboratory Assistant Recruitment Examination 2018, and the Agriculture Supervisor Recruitment Examination 2018.

Additional Director General (SoG) Vishal Bansal said that more than 9.40 lakh aspirants had registered to appear in these three examinations, which were conducted to fill a total of 3,212 posts across three departments.

He added that although the recruitment processes pertained to 2018, the examinations were conducted in 2019.
