Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday urged athletes from across the globe to help spread awareness about yoga beyond the World Yogasana Championship.
Conveying his condolences to the bereaved families and praying for the speedy recovery of those injured the Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) and Rs 50,000 to the injured.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries at a devastating accident in Rajasthan’s Dausa.
Conveying his condolences to the bereaved families and praying for the speedy recovery of those injured the Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) and Rs 50,000 to the injured.

Eleven people died in a horrific road accident in Dausa, including 7 children and 4 women. The accident happened early morning on Wednesday, when the devotees, all residents of Etah district of Uttar Pradesh, were returning after visiting Khatu Shyam temple. The collision was so severe that many people died on the spot.

The PM’s announcement comes as a solace to the affected families, who are grappling with the aftermath of the tragic incident. As per reports, the local administration is working tirelessly to provide medical aid and support to those affected.
