“The success of Operation Sindoor, carried out under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and the strategy of our commanders, revalidated the might and capability of our armed forces,” he said.
The Chief Minister said, “You have been defending the nation and its border in the difficult situations and variable environs, ranging from sand dunes of the desert to icy high reaches of the Himalayas.”
“Besides waging wars on the international borders, you have been fighting against the menaces of cross-border drug smuggling and terrorism, all this with success, demonstrating the efficiency and bravery of soldiers and the precision and capability of equipment. This made the nation proud even in Operation Sindoor,” Sharma further added.
“The Australian armed forces are considered to be the best military in the world. I do rate you (Indian soldiers) on par with the Australian army,” he stated.
The CM has also expressed satisfaction over nearing the targets of the plantation campaign under the “Harit Rajasthan” and “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” this monsoon season.
He said the state government has aimed to plant 10 crore saplings. ”As of August 13, 2025, we have planted more than 9.12 crore plants and will cross our targeted mark soon.
”Last year, too, we planted 7.5 crore saplings against the target of 7 crore. In our 5-year term, we have set a target of planting 50 crore plants,” he said.
Sharma reached Bikaner Naal airport this morning. He attended a programme at the BSF Kodewala BoP and later participated in the Tiranga Yatra in Naal village.
After attending a programme in Bikaner, the Chief Minister is scheduled to reach Jodhpur, where he will have a night halt and participate in Independence Day celebrations.
