‘Growth momentum remains strong’: PM Modi hails 7.7% GDP expansion in FY26

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to former president Dr Zakir Hussain on his 121st birth anniversary on Thursday.
In a tweet, PM Modi said, ”India remembers Dr. Zakir Husain on his birth anniversary. His contribution towards India’s freedom movement was tremendous. He also distinguished himself as a scholar and educationist”.

Zakir Hussain was the country’s first Muslim president and the third president from May 13, 1967 till his death May 3, 1969.
He was awarded Bharat Ratna in 1963.
