He will also launch the National Makhana Board, promoting the cultivation and marketing of makhana, a significant crop in Bihar, and will inaugurate multiple development projects including initiatives in infrastructure, health, and education.
His repeated visits to the poll-bound state adds currency to speculations that the BJP is focusing on countering the dominance of the Rashtriya Janata Dal in key regions like Saran, Siwan, and Gopalganj. PM Modi’s repeated visits to Bihar is seen as a crucial element of this strategy, aiming to reshape the political landscape and gather public backing for the NDA.
During his previous visits, PM Modi has focused on highlighting the BJP’s development agenda and strengthening the party’s grassroots presence. Some notable events included inauguration of Patna Airport Terminal and inauguration of the civil enclave at Bihta.
He had also led a roadshow from Aranya Bhawan to the state BJP office, covering around 4 km and attracting thousands of enthusiastic supporters.
By emphasizing development projects and government schemes in Bihar, PM Modi apparently aims to increase the party’s popularity and consolidate support among voters. The success of this strategy will depend on the BJP’s ability to effectively communicate its vision for Bihar’s growth and development.
