The Prime Minister is learnt to have acknowledged the Grand Mufti’s sustained efforts to encourage inclusivity and expand access to education, particularly among marginalised groups.

Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, a respected Islamic scholar and community leader, has long been associated with initiatives aimed at fostering interfaith dialogue and uplifting underprivileged sections through education. His outreach programmes have emphasised unity, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence within India’s diverse social fabric.

The interaction assumes significance amid the government’s continued emphasis on the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” vision, underscoring its commitment to inclusive development and collective progress.
