Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra MP on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that he compromised India’s energy security by “bowing down” to the United States and Israel.

Speaking at an election meeting at Puthanthopu in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday, Priyanka accused Prime Minister Modi of signing a trade deal that is “unfair” to Indian farmers, further alleging that these domestic interests were sacrificed to appease international powers.

She criticized the government’s failure to ensure the safety of Indians stranded in the Gulf region during the conflict, stating that the nation is “paying every day” for the PM’s lack of “guts”.
Priyanka further alleged that he is unable to stand up for India’s interests due to his personal vulnerabilities.
Turning to Kerala politics, Priyanka accused the LDF and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of being Modi’s “B-team,” claiming that the state government is negligent toward the needs of the people

“Name one leader who has stood up and expressed himself or herself against Narendra Modi and not been attacked either by the Enforcement Directorate, the Income Tax department, the CBI or his other agencies,” she said.

“How is it that only the Chief Minister of Kerala gets consideration? There is no investigation even after looting in Sabarimala. What is special about only the Left leaders,” she asked.

She alleged that the health sector in Kerala has collapsed and the youths who have studied in Kerala are unable to find jobs.
