Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, on Friday evening on a two-day visit. BJP workers and Kashi residents extended a grand welcome to him with flower showers amid drum beats on his arrival at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur.

Arrangements were made for a rousing welcome at six locations from where the PM travelled to BLW guest house by road.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled ot hold a meeting with party workers and public representatives at the BLW Guest House. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, and several other ministers will be present at the meeting in which the ongoing development projects in Kashi will be discussed.

After dinner, the prime minister could conduct a field inspection of the ongoing development projects in Kashi and witness a ropeway trial. However, this has not been officially announced.

On Saturday morning, PM will flag off the Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat train from Varanasi Railway Station, along with three other Vande Bharat trains online. He will talk to school student onboard Vande Bharat train before flagging it off.

After the programmee, the Mr Modi will leave for Bihar to campaign for NDA in the ongoing assembly elections.
