Social worker Pavan Sindhi presents a portrait of Lord Jhulelal to Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a meeting in New Delhi, where issues related to education, employment and cultural preservation were discussed.
Representing 25 million members of the Sindhi community, social worker Pavan Sindhi called on Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi today. During the meeting, he presented a grand portrait of Lord Jhulelal Ji to the Home Minister and held a meaningful discussion on several issues concerning the development of society and the nation.
Pavan Sindhi said the gesture was not merely a mark of religious respect, but also a message of the Sindhi community’s unity, culture, and patriotic spirit. Lord Jhulelal Ji, the revered deity of the Sindhi community, is worshipped as the God of Water and a symbol of justice. The portrait, he added, reflects the faith and cultural heritage of the community.

During the interaction, Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated the contributions of the Sindhi community. He noted that from rehabilitation after Partition to trade, education, and nation-building, the Sindhi community has consistently strengthened the country. Shri Shah urged the youth of the community to actively engage with Startup India, Digital India, and Skill Development initiatives.

Calling the discussion positive, Pavan Sindhi said the Home Minister’s guidance was inspiring for the upliftment of both society and the nation. He stated, “Today is a moment of pride for society and the nation. With the blessings of Lord Jhulelal Ji and the support of the government, the Sindhi community will reach new heights of progress.”
Several dignitaries from the Sindhi community were also present on the occasion. Key issues such as education, employment, and cultural preservation were discussed during the meeting.
The Sindhi community described the meeting as historic and expressed hope that, with the cooperation of the central government, the community’s cultural identity and economic participation would be further strengthened.
