Addressing the gathering, Baba Ramdev said that celebrating Acharya Ji’s birthday is merely symbolic—its real purpose is to ensure that herbal plants flourish not just in every Indian household but across the entire world, benefiting all of humanity.

He emphasized that herbs are a way to experience the grace of nature and the divine. “Herbs are not only for treatment, but also a path to self-realization,” he said.

Praising Acharya Balkrishna’s relentless efforts, Ramdev called him a living embodiment of tireless dedication, who has revived the ancient wisdom of our sages.

He added that Balkrishna has dedicated his entire life to public welfare, and his example teaches all to devote knowledge, devotion, and actions in service of Bharat Mata, humanity, nature, and culture.

Acharya Balkrishna, in his address, stated, “We do not make herbs; rather, herbs make us. If we want to protect life, we must first save herbs.”

He stressed that Herb Day is an initiative to protect all life, and without trees and medicinal plants, human life cannot survive. He added, “Each morning we wake up with new energy, new light, and a renewed life. Every birthday is a chance to celebrate that new beginning.”

He appealed to citizens to plant and protect herbs such as Tulsi, Giloy, Aloe Vera, Ashwagandha, and Neem, and urged the nation to contribute to environmental and personal well-being.

As part of the celebration, 11 books authored by Acharya Balkrishna were also released.

The key highlight was the launch of “Saumitreya Padpaniruktam”, a scripture backed by references from over 150 Ayurvedic texts and manuscripts.
