The counting of the votes began in Rajasthan at 8 am along with Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana on Sunday morning amid tight security arrangements.
According to early trends, the saffron party was leading in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, while Congress Congress was ahead in Telangana.
In terms of numbers, the BJP was leading on 153 seats, Congress on 73 and others on four seats by the same time.
The BJP was on 100 seats, the Congress on 78, and others on 15 seats in Rajasthan at 11 am, as per the EC web portal.
