The annual celebration of Patanjali Gurukul, recognized by the Bharatiya Shiksha Board, took place at the Patanjali University Auditorium in Haridwar. The event brought together several spiritual leaders, educationists, and students to honour India’s timeless Gurukul tradition.

Addressing the gathering, Swami Ramdev, the Chief Mentor of Patanjali Yogpeeth, said that India’s ancient Gurukuls once produced leaders who guided the world with knowledge and values.

He praised the teachers of the Gurukul for shaping the students’ character and guiding them toward a meaningful life. “Our Acharyas are not just teaching subjects. They are building the moral foundation of every student,” Swami Ramdev added.

Swami Avdheshanand Giri, the Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Peeth, called Patanjali Gurukul a “living laboratory” for India’s eternal and victorious culture.

“This institution is preserving and nurturing the essence of our Vedic traditions. The students here are awakening a higher form of human consciousness,” he said. He also applauded the blend of spirituality and modern education.

Acharya Balkrishna, the co-founder of Patanjali, emphasized that the Gurukul has become a strong pillar for promoting Indian culture and Sanatan values. “Students here gain both knowledge and deep-rooted values. They are learning how to live life with purpose and integrity,” he said.

Adding to the sentiments, Swami Chidanand Muni of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, highlighted the importance of viewing India through its own spiritual lens. “The soul of India lies in Sanatan Dharma. Patanjali Gurukul is helping the nation reconnect with its true identity and history,” he remarked.
