As Nitin Nabin is set to make his maiden visit to his home state on 23 December after assuming charge as the BJP’s National Executive President, the party’s state unit is preparing to leverage the occasion to the fullest.
Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi said that the party has planned a massive roadshow from Patna Airport to the Miller High School ground in the state capital, where party workers will accord Nabin a grand welcome.

He added that party workers would line up alongside Patna’s iconic Bailey Road, which runs through the heart of the city, to welcome Nabin.
During the roadshow, Nabin will stop at the Rajvanshi Nagar Mahavir Temple to offer prayers to Panchmukhi Hanuman before proceeding to the Patna High Court, where he will pay floral tributes to the life-size statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Thereafter, he will move on to the JP Golambar to offer floral tributes at the statue of socialist icon Jayaprakash Narayan, before reaching the Miller High School ground, where the state BJP will formally felicitate him.
Speaking about his appointment as Bihar BJP President, Saraogi said he has not been given a post, but a responsibility. Assuring the Central leadership, he said the Bihar BJP would contribute immensely towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047.
He added that efforts would be made to ensure that the voices of party workers reach the government and that coordination between the organisation and the government is strengthened.
