Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh proclaimed on Thursday that the NDA was poised to return to power with a resounding mandate, a sentiment echoed not just within India but worldwide.

Speaking to party members in the Barpeta district, Assam, Singh extolled the NDA’s unity under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership likening it to a tightly-knit family striving for a common purpose. He expressed assurance in securing over 400 seats in the upcoming elections, reaffirming Modi’s steadfast leadership.

The defence minister emphasised that the NDA’s political pursuits are driven solely by the nation’s welfare rather than personal gain highlighting India’s enhanced global stature and Modi’s transformative leadership. He credited NDA workers for the nation’s progress through various government schemes, particularly lauding the successful vaccination campaign which extended support to over 100 countries.

Under Modi’s dynamic stewardship, Singh predicted India’s ascent to one of the top three global powers by 2027, citing sustained development efforts. He outlined significant infrastructure initiatives such as nationwide electrification, universal access to tap water, and the Ayushman Bharat scheme providing free healthcare up to Rs 5 lakh, all aimed at eradicating poverty.

Looking forward, Singh envisioned a prosperous India poised to become a leading global force by 2047. While acknowledging past governments’ contributions, he hailed Modi’s development pace as unparalleled.

He reaffirmed the BJPs steadfast commitment to India’s journey towards prosperity, urging all citizens to unite in realizing this shared vision of a prosperous nation.
